There are some sounds that we do not hear very often. We are very familiar with all the sounds that go with modern life—automobiles and buses, trains and trucks, sirens and whistles galore. Throughout the day we hear kids playing and music blaring, cash registers ringing and horns honking planes roaring overhead. But you will hardly ever hear a rooster crowing.

The Apostle Peter heard the rooster crow and when he did, he went out and wept bitterly because of what he’d done.
